Studio begins work with Dale Hillman

Today was a great day in the studio. After a month or so of schedule conflicts, we were finally able to get Dale Hillman to do an initial recording with AuRum. There is a lot of material in the queue, but today we focused on his main core songs. Some of the songs recorded exhibited Dales expertise on the slide guitar. This is exciting material and some gems will be produced from these works.

His audiences have described him as having a Neil Young sound, but when you hear his slide work you can definitely hear a likeness to Jimmy Page in his earlier Led Zeppelin recordings. Dale has also attributed the Beatles as having a strong influence on his music.

The messages from the songs are very positive and powerful. Hillman could be just the folk hero we need to shake us loose from the numbing music culture we have evolved to. Welcome aboard Dale, looking forward to working with you in the near future.

Currently the studio is about to release a handful of songs from the two bands we have been working with. Civil Disobedience has Die Schickeria, So Into You, River's Gold, Down The Sukunka, and 2 covers, Can't You Hear My Heartbeat and If Not For You. Blackwater will be releasing Frontal Lobe Damage, The Piper, Garden, Zaxxon Zombies, and 1 cover, Meatplow. And there will be much more from these artists later this summer.
