We started our studio with the volatile presence of a group named Charlie In The Trees. The band seemed to be lost - looking for a genre to be a part of, yet failing to exist in any of them. They have material that came out as comedy yet some of their works would have been considered quite serious with its topic material. Mostly influenced by heavy metal artists but seldom finding the edge to be classified themselves as heavy metal artists. Some may consider them critical activists and others would say that they were nonsensical posers. They spent the majority of their studio time barely able to stand up, but were able to record enough material to release a CD named The Execution Of Mickey. This CD was an allegorical spin on the fall of Christ, using Disney's Mickey Mouse as the part of martyr. It included 14 tracks which largely incorporated music with a very insane microphone feedback technique. Here is Load The Bowl, track 1 on The Execution Of Mickey.

Charlie In The Trees were only together for a year and as they say in Facebookland regarding break-ups, "it's complicated". Their recordings which produced close to 50 tracks spanned from March of 2009 to the following Spring of 2010. It was crazy, but fun as well...very happy to be moving on from then.
